About the challenge
Pyxis Hacks is a free, virtual hackathon for middle school students being held on August 13-14, 2022. A hackathon is a 48-hour coding competition, in which participants race to come up with a technology-based solution to a real-world problem. Don't know how to code? No problem! All hackathons have workshops and mentors to guide you through the process of bringing you idea to life. Our hackathon aims to introduce middle school students to the world of hackathons and inspire a love for innovation while making coding easier to learn.
Middle school students will have the opportunity to learn how to make websites and iOS apps, learn about the exciting field of biotechnology, get an intro to Python, and much more!
